I first got into music as a metal guitar player learning songs through youtube and eventually taking guitar lessons through Kirk Vickers. When he was 16, I would receive sheet music of neoclassical speed exercises and practice them non stop. I practiced thoroughly during my high school years. Later practicing Frank Gambale’s and John Petrucci’s guitar workout DVDs’. Then I practiced even more my first year of college and tried out to Berklee. Then I received acceptance to Berklee College of Music (my dream school) that summer and never looked back.

I’m interested in technology and DIY projects. For example, I built acoustic panels for my studio.

In my free time I like to play guitar, admire nature, go on hikes and hangout with friends.

In addition to freelance projects through my name “Weston Guidero” I also have a music catalog through my on production company: “West Audio.”
